During this presentation, librarians will be introduced to different ways in which they can make their library a more welcoming place for individuals on the Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental delay, followed by Q&A.

The Sensory Friendly Inclusive Group is a grassroots community of practice developed and facilitated by Maria Cotto at the Pawtucket Public Library, with continued support from Babs Wells at the Greenville Public Library and Lisa Lesinski at the Barrington Public Library.
The Sensory Friendly Inclusive Group seeks to empower librarians to better serve individuals of all ages and backgrounds who are neurodiverse or on the autism spectrum and their families by expanding programming, outreach, partnerships, and resources that welcome all abilities.
