20th Annual Imagine Walk! with The Autism Project (RI)

On Sunday, April 24th @ 10:00 am, The Autism Project will be hosting the walk at Goddard Memorial State Park.
 
We are excited to be back at the park this year!
 
At The Autism Project, we strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment where individuals and their families feel safe, respected, and supported. We are committed to our mission and the community!
Funds raised through the 20th Annual Imagine Walk will go directly towards programs, services and trainings for children, teens and adults living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, caretakers, and the professionals who support them.

DIY Sensory Play at Home (Sensory Cotton Ball Snowman) at the Pawtucket Public Library (RI)

 

Join Miss Maria in this fun DIY Sensory Play video and learn how to make your own sensory cotton ball snowman. Recommended for children ages 5 and up. 
 
A free sensory kit will be provided with the materials to make the project at home, while supplies last in the children's library. Curbside pick-up is available by calling 401-725-3714 x209
 
Materials needed:
-Cotton ball
-Construction paper (blue, black, orange and white)
-Body of the snowman cut out on white construction paper
-Black hat cut out on black construction paper
-Googly eye
-Small triangle (for nose) cut out on orange construction paper
-Glue stick or white glue
-Black marker
-Other materials that can be used buttons, pipe cleaners, stickers and more….
 
Instructions:
1. Glue on the cut out body of the snowman on the blue construction paper
2. Glue on the black hat on top of the snowman’s head
3. Add the cotton balls on to the body of the snowman by pulling them apart
4. Add the googly eyes
5. Add the orange triangle nose
6. Draw the stick figure arms on the snowman and enjoy!
