Join Miss Maria in this fun DIY Sensory Play video and learn how to make your own sensory cotton ball snowman. Recommended for children ages 5 and up.
A free sensory kit will be provided with the materials to make the project at home, while supplies last in the children's library. Curbside pick-up is available by calling 401-725-3714 x209
Materials needed:
-Cotton ball
-Construction paper (blue, black, orange and white)
-Body of the snowman cut out on white construction paper
-Black hat cut out on black construction paper
-Googly eye
-Small triangle (for nose) cut out on orange construction paper
-Glue stick or white glue
-Black marker
-Other materials that can be used buttons, pipe cleaners, stickers and more….
Instructions:
1. Glue on the cut out body of the snowman on the blue construction paper
2. Glue on the black hat on top of the snowman’s head
3. Add the cotton balls on to the body of the snowman by pulling them apart
4. Add the googly eyes
5. Add the orange triangle nose
6. Draw the stick figure arms on the snowman and enjoy!
