Adaptive Canoeing with Waypoing Adventure

Because... we've got adaptive paddling every Tuesday during the month of August!! 
Meet up with our partner Waypoint Adventure for a pond excursion at Harold Parker State Forest on August 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 1 p.m.-3:30 pm.!! Experience the fun and serenity of being on the water while being part of a supportive community! Benefit from the wide array of adaptive canoe equipment and instruction designed to meet your individual needs. Their highly trained staff will instruct, support, and encourage you as you learn new skills or further develop your existing ones. All canoe programs will be custom designed to fit the needs of you and/or your group.

Applications for adult services in many areas should take place at the age of 18. Many families feel overwhelmed with the transition process. The Arc of Bristol County is here to help. Join us for a training workshop to learn about:
• Transition timelines
• How to address transition in your child's IEP
• How to begin navigating adult services
Families will come away with a one-of-a-kind binder with information on the transition to adult services neatly organized for you.

Young Adult Roundtable: Sensory Inclusive Spaces for Teens (RI)
Teen services staff are invited to join their colleagues to discuss sensory inclusive spaces for teens. This meeting will be hybrid. In the event less than five people register to participate in person this meeting will be virtual only.
