Baby and Toddler Playtime is BACK! Wednesdays at 10:30am at the Brownell Library (Little Compton, RI)
No fussing here ~ we are starting a new playtime specially designed for babies & toddlers! There will be a pint-sized ball pit, sensory friendly toys, and lots to engage the youngest minds!

2025 ALSC/Candlewick Press "Light the Way" Grant
The ALSC/Candlewick Press “Light the Way” Grant is open to any project that seeks to engage an underserved population of children from birth up to the age of 14. Special population children may include (but are not limited to) those who have learning or physical differences, those who are speaking English as a second language, those who are in a non-traditional school environment, those who are in non-traditional family settings (such as teen parents, foster children, children in the juvenile justice system, and children in gay and lesbian families), and those who need accommodation service to meet their needs.

Seven Cedars Farm "Nighttime Low Scare Hayride" (Smithfield, RI)
Last
year, we offered a Nighttime Low Scare Hayride during the week and many
people loved it. So once again we are adding 3 "low scare" nights to
our 2024 schedule. These nights will run differently than our normal
operating nights on the weekend.
What these nights offer is a hayride throughout the woods with all the lights on but with NO actors to scare you.
These
nights are perfect for those who frighten easily, have sensory issues,
and/or who are just looking for some Halloween fun during the week.
We will run these 3 nights on Wednesday's 10/16, 10/23 and 10/30 from 6-8pm with the last trailer at 7:30pm.

Adaptive Canoeing with Waypoing Adventure
YAAAHOOOO!!! Let's go CANOE!!!! And YES-you can join too!! Because... we've got adaptive paddling every Tuesday during the month of August!! Meet up with our partner Waypoint Adventure for a pond excursion at Harold Parker State Forest on August 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 1 p.m.-3:30 pm.!!
Experience the fun and serenity of being on the water while being part of a supportive community! Benefit from the wide array of adaptive canoe equipment and instruction designed to meet your individual needs. Their highly trained staff will instruct, support, and encourage you as you learn new skills or further develop your existing ones. All canoe programs will be custom designed to fit the needs of you and/or your group.
